Mandurah film network night success

Last week’s Film Network Night was a fantastic reminder of why events like these are so important for WA’s film community.

The night brought together filmmakers, actors, writers, and creatives, the evening was filled with insightful conversations, new connections, and the kind of energy that fuels great storytelling and collaboration.

Held at Oceanic Bar & Grill in Mandurah, the event welcomed both industry professionals and emerging creatives, creating a space where ideas could be exchanged freely. From passionate discussions about upcoming projects to spontaneous collaborations forming on the spot, it was clear that WA’s film industry is alive with talent and ambition.

My goal of these nights is to create a film community in Mandurah - giving creatives a chance to get together and have those creative chats that we do not get to have on a daily basis.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, contributed, and helped make the night a success.

I know i met quite a few newbies and had some lovely chats about our projects and filmmaking in general. I walked away feeling inspired and my “film bucket” being a little more full.

If you attended feel free to drop a comment below or share your experience of the night.

If you couldn’t make it this time—don’t worry! There will be more opportunities to connect and collaborate. Stay tuned for details on our next Film Network Night, and in the meantime, keep the conversations going, follow up with the people you met, and turn those ideas into action.

Let’s keep building something great together. See you at the next one! 🎥
