This workshop is designed to be engaging and interactive, with hands-on activities and ample time for questions and feedback.

Session 1: Introduction to Smartphone Video Marketing (15 minutes)

·                 Welcome to workshop.

·                 Acknowledgement of country.

·                 Workshop purpose and goals.

·                 Icebreaker Activity: Get to know your activity – connect business accounts, like, subscribe, follow each other.

·                 Discuss the importance of video marketing for small businesses.

Session 2: Editing Your Video on a Smartphone (1 hour, 30 minutes)

·                 Introduction to video editing apps (e.g., android and apple, iMovie, Adobe Premiere Rush)

·                 How to edit visuals with unique tips and tricks.

·                 Editing sound.

·                 Adding transitions, text, and basic effects

·                 Exporting and sharing the edited video.

·                 Video file formats and resolutions.

·                 Uploading videos to social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook)

·                 Video SEO basics: Titles, descriptions, and keywords.

·                 Managing these important assets (storage).

·                 Strategies for sharing your videos online.

·                 Publishing – which social media to publish to and why (YouTube, websites and social media channels).

·                 Activity 1: Attendees edit their 30 second video. Participants edit their previously recorded clips and syncing it with audio.

·                 Activity 2: Attendees publish their video to appropriate social media account. Attendees share fellow participant’s video.

Session 3: Q&A and Final Remarks (15 minutes)

·                 Open floor for questions and clarifications.

·                 Review and close the workshop.

·                 Activity: Network opportunity with fellow participants.
