Create a short film - course
Workshop Description:
Participants will be introduced to the four stages of making a short film. Participants will learn how to make a short film (plan, shoot, edit and produce).
The four-week course aims to hold an interactive, practical film industry.
The course will be hands-on experience where participants will participate in a learning how to craft and produce a short fictional film. During the course there will be a hands-on exercise to help participants create their own film.
Students will be guided and advised through the process by the instructor.

Activity:
Attendees will complete a creative brainstorming and writing activity.
Attendees will create a storyboard.
Attendees will shoot a scene of a film.
Attendees will create a plan to market their film.
Participants will work in groups of four or five to plan, shoot, edit and publish a short film.
All short films will be shot in Mandurah and have a sense of the Mandurah identity within their storylines.
Students will be guided and advised through the process by the instructor.
Each lesson will have content delivered to participants, followed by hands on activities to help the students create their films.
Length of course:
Five weeks (four lessons followed by a premiere screening in the fifth week).
